Wool Shed Visit

Booking the Wool Shed

You can see and feel the different stages of shorn New Zealand wool when
The Wool Shed visits your school.
It’s a converted shipping container packed with woolly resources.
North Island. The Wool Shed is booked out for 2018, so far this year we have visited eleven

North Island schools. We are on the road again in 2019 and are accepting bookings.
South Island. The Wool Shed experience is now available to South Island schools. Our second Wool Shed had its official launch at Aparima College in Riverton in
April this year.  We are now fully booked for 2018 for the South Island Wool Shed and are now
accepting bookings for the 2019 school year. Now is the time to secure a visit to your school in 2019, by completing the following booking form. We will come back to you with updates and delivery information once travel dates are confirmed. There are breeds around the world, particularly in tropical areas, which still shed their sheep naturally, so we imported the genetics to start breeding. "Now, we have thousands of wool-shedding sheep on our farms. "Their bodies recognise when it is springtime and they naturally begin to shed their wool.
